DOCUTAH Screens "Prophet’s Prey"

DOCUTAH International Documentary Film Festival will be screening Prophet’s Prey at the O.C. Tanner Amphitheater in Springdale, Utah, on September 11 at 8:00 PM.

Based on the New York Times bestselling book Prophet’s Prey by private investigator Sam Brower, the film follows his ten-year investigation into the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the abuse of power by leader Warren Jeffs.

Brower will be attending the festival and participating in a Q&A after the screening. A private dinner and meet-and-greet with him will be held beforehand at 6:30 PM, with limited seating available overlooking the red rocks of Zion National Park. Special guests for the Q&A include Sean Reyes, with moderation by Doug Fabrizio.

Proceeds from the evening will go toward supporting the work of Holding Out HELP and the individuals they serve.

The documentary Prophet’s Prey will also make its world television premiere in October on Showtime.
